Foto-Cache is an online repository of forgotten and unwanted cell-phoneimages that participants have 'donated' using their cell phones. Rootedin Benjamin's idea of the "optical unconscious," the project seeks todocument an otherwise unaccounted form of personal media to distil therepressed personality of the collective unconscious.

To contribute an image:
STEP 1 Go through the images on your cell phone and select one that you don'tremember or that you are about to delete.
STEP 2 E-mail the image to the following address from your cell phone:cache [at] cisforkollage [dot] com
STEP 3 Include the name of your image as the title of the e-mail. If you do notinclude a title, the name of the file will appear as a title. You caninclude other information such as your name or a caption to the body ofthe e-mail.
